I've followed this band since they were playing tiny venues in South Florida. These two boys have come a long way from Akron, Ohio. And as their career takes off someone somewhere (evil record label) keeps giving them the money they need to kick ass. It's a slippery slope but while they're on it, they're making the best of it. A movie the same length as an album? Yes. Efterklang collaborating with over 200 people to create new interpretations of songs from their Magic Chairs Album live? Yes. I cannot effing wait! I love when collaborations occur solely to push the boundaries of what is accepted and what is expected. A major inspiration.
